Award-winning Iranian flick ‘Dressage’ makes into the special screening line-up of "Middle East Now" fest in Italy.
The flick will be screened on July 30 within a Summer 2019 review program dedicated to movies hailing from the ME.
Under the program, one movie from a middle eastern country is screened each night while 'Dressage' represents Iran at the event.
‘Dressage’ narrates the story of Golsa and her friends who decide to rob a corner shop out of boredom. But while evaluating the robbery, they are dismayed to realize that they forgot to take the security camera footage; so one of them must return to the crime scene and retrieve it — a task that falls on Golsa.
Negar Moqaddam, Ali Mosaffa, Shabnam Moqaddami, Houshang Tavakkoli, Ali-Reza Aqakhani, Ali-Reza Sanifar, Jalal Fatemi, Yasna Mirtahmasb, and Siamak Adib are among the cast.
The Iranian feature has won Best First Film Award at the 36th Fajr International Film Festival in Iran and best debut film at the 4th CineIran Festival in Canada,
